After Jaron Engelmayer completed a guest semester at the Yeshiva University in New York, he studied at the Yeshivat Hesder "Birkat Moshe" in Ma'ale Adumim from 1996-2005, under Rav Nachum Eliezer Rabinovitch זצ״ל. As part of his yeshiva studies, Jaron Engelmayer not only completed the Israeli military service, but also teacher training at the "College Machon Lifshitz" in Jerusalem, from where he successfully graduated with a Bachelor degree in 2005.
After passing the exams in selected areas of the Shulchan Aruch, he received his first rabbinate ordination from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate in 2002 and was qualified as a municipal rabbi in 2005.
