Visiting the Great Synagogue
Since the Great Synagogue (Wiener Stadttempel) has become structurally dated, the synagogue will be restored starting October 20, 2025, and will remain closed until the High Holidays in autumn 2026. There will be no guided tours of the Great Synagogue during this period.

If you would like to attend a prayer service and are not a member of the IKG, you must register at least 3 days in advance. Please send an e-mail to visitors@ikg-wien.at, including a copy of your passport and your phone number. For security reasons, please bring photo ID with you and allow extra time for the required security checks.

Lost property: Items left behind are kept in our Membership Service Centre. You are welcome to enquire there whether your lost property has been found.
