The choir for Jewish children aged between 7 and 14 was founded in 2006 by Chief Cantor Shmuel Barzilai.
Every Sabbath, there is a rehearsal and a performance in which children from the community are warmly invited to participate.
In the Children's Choir, the children not only learn all the prayers but, with their performances, they bridge the gap between religion and culture. Children from all parts of the Jewish community come together here to sing together and reinforce the Jewish way of life for the future.
They learn to stand confidently on the stage, control their nerves before performances and grow into self-assured young people.
